Journalistic 6
(Waste Products Challenge)

  • Who is your target market?
My target market for my product are those who are in the office or even at home. A pencil/pen holder are helpful so they will not lose their pen and pencil. They can also put erasers, sharpener and board pens. It is appropriate in any working table.

  • Why did you create this product?
I create this product because I know it will be helpful for everyone especially office workers, students and home business people. It is easier for them as well to know where their pencil/pens are. They won't waste time in looking for their pen/pencils.

  • What did you use in creating this product?
I used plastic spoons for the stand and decoration at the same time.Another waste that I used is the cotton buds container. Lastly I used plastic bottle as well for decoration.

  • Where are you going to use this?
The products (pencil/pen holder and flower decoration) can be used in the office table, bed side-table, study table and even beside the telephone with paper so whenever you need to take down notes if someone is calling and giving important details, you don't need to hold the phone just to excuse and get some pen.

  • When is the appropriate time to use this?
Any time and anywhere they can use this holder especially in taking immediate notes. Always ensure that it will always come together with a paper.

  • How did you do this?
I used super glue to stick the spoons around the cotton buds' container. Another waste that I used is the cotton buds' container, which needs a stronger foundation to stand and look more useful. Lastly I used plastic bottle as well for decoration. I cut it into half, the top bit, I made it as a flower decoration and the bottom part, I made it as another form of pencil/pen holder.
